What does this actually do?

Two things, both optional:

1. Hotkey soundboard. 9 buttons in your dock, each bound to a built-in effect (hearts, fireworks, snow...) or your own uploaded image / GIF. Click a button, the effect fires on your stream. No AI, no credits.
2. AI co-pilot. Your viewers' chat / gifts / follows / subs / raids appear as cards in the dock. Click Generate AI ✨ on any card to spend one AdHunters credit and get a fresh AI-generated effect that fits the event. You decide whether to apply it.

Do I need an AI key to use it?

No. The hotkey soundboard works for free, with 9 default effects ready out of the box. The AI co-pilot is the only feature that needs an AdHunters key, and it's totally optional. Paste one in the AI (optional) tab if you want it.

Is it free?

Sign-up is free and the soundboard is free forever. AI suggestions cost 1 AdHunters credit per click. You get free trial credits to start, then you pay only for what you actually click. No subscription.

Which platforms work?

Twitch, Kick, and TikTok. You can connect more than one at the same time.

Can I upload my own images / GIFs?

Yes. In the Hotkeys tab on your profile, click Upload asset. Supported formats are PNG, JPG, WebP, and animated GIF, up to 5 MB each, 50 files per account. Then bind any of the 9 hotkey slots to that asset by picking Custom asset in the slot's dropdown.

How does transparency work for my uploads?

The overlay browser source is fully transparent, so any alpha channel in your PNG or GIF passes straight through to OBS - no chroma-key filter needed. If you upload a JPG it'll show as a rectangle (JPG has no transparency); for cleanest results use a transparent PNG or GIF.

I set everything up but nothing is happening. What now?

Check three things:

1. The dock is open in OBS (View → Docks → Custom Browser Docks).
2. The overlay browser source is added to your scene and visible.
3. The status pill in the dock toolbar says Live, not Offline.

Try clicking a hotkey in the dock. If it fires on the overlay, the connection is fine and you're just waiting for events to arrive. If it doesn't fire, reload the dock URL.

A viewer is spamming and burning my AI credits. What do I do?

On any chat card from that viewer, click the red Block button. Their future chat events are dropped before they reach the dock at all, so they can't waste your time or credits. Unblock anyone later from the Blocked panel in the dock toolbar.

My TikTok dock is too noisy. Too many likes / chat. Help?

Use the toolbar checkboxes at the top of the dock to hide whole event types you don't care about. For example untick like on a busy TikTok stream. The setting is saved per browser, so it sticks across sessions. The hidden events still flow through the system and can still be blocked, you just don't see them as cards.

Will it post in my chat?

No. We only read your chat. We never write to it.

Will my viewers see things I didn't approve?

No. Effects only appear on your stream when you click a hotkey button or click Apply on an AI suggestion. Skip the ones you don't like. They never reach the overlay.

Is my chat data saved?

No. Messages are forwarded straight to your dock and discarded. Only when you explicitly click Generate AI does that one message get sent to the AdHunters API for a suggestion. See our privacy policy for details.

Can I take a break or turn it off?

Yes. Just remove the Browser Source from OBS, or disconnect your platform on the profile page. Reconnect anytime. Your hotkey bindings and uploaded assets are kept.

Can I use the dock on a tablet?

Yes. The dock is responsive. Open the dock URL in a tablet browser and you'll get a touch-friendly layout with bigger buttons. Useful if you stream from a desktop but want to fire hotkeys from a tablet on your desk.
